PRODUCT MANAGER

Position Description

The Product Manager will be responsible for serving as subject matter expert, product champion and strong customer advocate in the development and deployment of the product roadmap for our world class product offerings. Additionally, the Product Manager will lend his/her expertise and leverage their knowledge base with customer insights and competitive practices to design new and innovative products and continually improve existing products that exceed customer expectations.

The Product Manger will also be responsible for collaborating with all internal teams to assess product development and enhancement opportunities, conduct or oversee competitive research and technology assessments, formulate recommendations to the development and implementation teams, and provide evaluation and support post-deployment. The Product Manager will play a vital role in gathering and developing product requirements documents (PRDs) while taking into account goals of the organization, competitive outlook, industry direction, resource constraints and required timelines.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications include: A demonstrated passion for and understanding of product management. Bachelor degree in computer science, communications, business or closely related discipline required. Advance degree desired. Two-five years of product management experience, with solid track record of developing and launching successful products in an internet-based (Web 2.0) and/or social network environment. Knowledge of and experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC). Demonstrated experience in translating customer and business requirements, communicating those into an innovative product/feature vision, and rallying the execution team around that vision to deliver on-time and on-budget. Must be passionate about understanding the evolution of social media, social networking, mobile communications and similar in the development and delivery of great products. Must be able to identify and exceed customer/user experience expectations. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and decision-making skills. Must possess the ability to confidently and professionally relate to persons at all status and technical levels within and outside of the organization. Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail. Strong analytic skills and the ability to be strategic for future planning needs. Preferred Qualifications include: Knowledge of business requirements documents (BRDs) and collecting data and information. Familiarity with functional requirements documents (FRDs) and data collection methods.

The preferred location of this position will be at INgage Network’s state-of-the-art corporate facility in Naples, Florida with Atlanta, GA (midtown), being an alternative location.
