As a Product Manager you will be responsible for serving as subject matter expert, product champion and strong customer advocate in the development and execution of the product roadmap for our world class product offerings. You will be a part of a team that is charged with guiding the direction of the core products of company. This extends from increasing the profitability of the existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You relish spending time learning about the market t to better understand the challenges that our clients face as well as finding innovative solutions for the broader market.
Communication among all facets of the company and sharing product knowledge is your comfort area as you work with technical and business counterparts to define product release requirements. You will collaborate with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as one of the product evangelists among internal and external teams and occasionally share this knowledge with channel partners and key customers.
A demonstrated passion for and understanding of product management. Bachelor degree in computer science, communications, business or closely related discipline required. Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible product management experience Proven track record of developing and launching successful web-based, enterprise-class software products in a SaaS/PaaS environment. Knowledge of and experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) with at least 1 year experience with agile development. Familiarity with writing requirements for RESTful APIs, Demonstrated experience in translating customer and business requirements, communicating those into an innovative product/feature vision, and rallying the execution team around that vision to deliver on-time and on-budget. Passionate about understanding the evolution of social media, social networking, and mobility. Ability to identify and exceed customer/user experience expectations. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and decision-making skills. Must possess the ability to confidently and professionally relate to persons at all status and technical levels within and outside of the organization. Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail. Strong analytic skills and the ability to be strategic for future planning needs. Experience in working cross-functional teams. Experience with market research, competitive analysis, prototype testing, and usability testing.
