STRATEGIC ACCT MANAGER - ENTERPRISE (ATLANTA)

Position Description

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for generating sales to corporate clients with an emphasis on major enterprise new business accounts. This position works directly with the Vice President of Sales to drive sales and generate revenue from large scale enterprise opportunities, strategically analyze the business and develop short and long term plans, identify market opportunities, establish strategic priorities and implement strategic plans and initiatives. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and generate revenue from large scale enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain major account opportunities with corporate enterprises through prior contacts, warm and cold leads, and other lead generation activities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that play an integral role in the selling process by establishing and maintaining strategic working relationships with past, potential and existing enterprise customers. 
  • Manage the process of bringing on new accounts and extending the contractual relationships with existing accounts. 
  • Research and understand the internal business processes of potential clients, understand customers’ business objectives in order to map a strategy and recommend a technology solution. 
  • Forge and manage relationships at the executive level and position the company with all key decision makers within the enterprise. 
  • Understand the enterprise’s business model so as to avail INgage Networks of all sales opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Anticipate and identify industry needs and work with the technology executives to develop a roadmap for continuous product enhancement and development.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
This position requires strong proven leadership skills, current sales experience and knowledge of enterprise sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of decision makers across all areas of enterprise sales operations. This person will have a strong entrepreneurial background and experience selling into the enterprise environment – especially in the software related market space.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • Seven (7) years sales experience and strong knowledge and record of enterprise level software sales and technology solutions to major enterprise accounts.
  • Minimum quota experience of $1M+ as individual contributor.
  • Possession of key network of C-level contacts in greater Atlanta area.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and performance management skills.
  • An understanding of social networking and online community building and the ability to relate technical and business concepts to Neighborhood America applications and user needs.
  • Exceptional presentation and business negotiating skills. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
