June 25, 2009 - Neighborhood America Executive Vice President of Business Strategy, Dan Miller, will share a five-step action plan for using social media to promote business during a July 2nd luncheon hosted by the Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) in Sarasota, Florida.
Dan will reinforce that although social (new) media doesn't replace traditional (old) media, there's a unique opportunity to extend brand awareness by developing a conversation rather than blasting a one-way message, and at a considerably lower-cost. One of the biggest challenges PR professionals face is achieving business objectives and measuring success. That's why Dan will share Neighborhood America's blueprint on how to think about and plan for strategies that meet a client's business goals, with ROI in mind.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their wireless computers for a hands-on session for creating a Twitter phone campaign. The event is open to non-members as well.
