Neighborhood America’s Enterprise Social Software Enables Hope Plus to Promote Global Activism
" Neighborhood America provides the enterprise-level social software platform needed to support this global initiative, allowing us to grow, make enhancements and maintain security. "
January 8, 2010 - Neighborhood America, soon to be known as INgage Networks, partners with Hope Plus to provide a resource for individuals to help tackle the problems of struggling people throughout the world.

Inspired by President Barack Obama’s call to global service, Hope Plus is a non-profit, non-partisan organization developed by PoliticsOnline that enables members to leverage their social networks to take action and create change.

While many charitable sites focus on monetary donations, Hope Plus is about taking action. Members joining Hope Plus can search volunteer opportunities, support different organizations and projects worldwide, and start their own projects related to education, health and hunger – all from one site. The site further enables members to inspire each other and exchange ideas for turning hopes and dreams into reality.

“We initially considered a low-cost consumer platform, but quickly determined that it wouldn’t support our needs,” said Phil Noble, founder of Hope Plus and president of PoliticsOnline. “Neighborhood America provides the enterprise-level social software platform needed to support this global initiative, allowing us to grow, make enhancements and maintain security.”

Over the next few months, Hope Plus will be expanding to add new features and ways to help make life better for millions of people around the world.
