July 13, 2010 - INgage Networks, together with the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts & Sciences, is one of 38 finalists for the 2010 Innovation Michigan statewide awards. Business Review selects the Innovation finalists based on uniqueness of the innovation, which could include a new product, process, business, line or service.

INgage Networks and the MSU College of Communication Arts & Sciences established a collaborative research and development partnership earlier this year to advance the goals of business, government and non-profits around the state of Michigan using social media.

Examples include projects to 1) allow Michigan residents to shape the future of Michigan State Extension 2) allow industry and young professionals to connect and share entrepreneurial strategies throughout the state 3) connect MSU students by neighborhoods 4) promote greening of communities and boost the state’s economy.

All finalists will be featured in a special publication by Business Review on July 22. Each finalist will showcase their innovation at the July 28 Innovation Michigan Awards & Exposition at Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. Eight companies will be named winners at the end of the evening.
