" I am so proud of each and every one of them, and extremely grateful that the world has recognized their achievements. The CODiE Awards are particularly rewarding, as they recognize outstanding achievement as judged by our peers who we both respect and admire. "
May 21, 2008 - As the best and the brightest from some of the most innovative technology companies around the world gathered in San Francisco, Neighborhood America was not only at the table – they were on center stage accepting the award for the industry's 'Best Social Networking Solution.'
Honored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the CODiE Awards (http://www.siia.net/codies/2008/) celebrate outstanding developments in software, digital information and education technology. With a 23 year history, the CODiEs remain the only peer-reviewed awards within the software and content industries.
This year, more than 1,100 CODiE nominations were submitted by 600 companies in a total of 75 categories. Neighborhood America was among the 340 distinguished finalists that were selected by a panel of expert judges during the first round of competition. From the impressive list of finalists, only 75 were honored with CODiE Awards during the evening Gala on May 20, 2008, each representing the single best solution in each of the established categories.
"Every day I am impressed by what our highly dedicated group of individuals can do," said Kim Patrick Kobza, President and CEO of Neighborhood America. "I am so proud of each and every one of them, and extremely grateful that the world has recognized their achievements. The CODiE Awards are particularly rewarding, as they recognize outstanding achievement as judged by our peers who we both respect and admire."
